Frequently Asked Questions.
Everything you need to know about eligibility, the psychometric test, and the interview process.
01What is the academic rank for cut-off?
The final cut-off depends on the quality of the applicant pool each year. In 2025, the cut-off for undergraduate entry was 96.75 and 98.50 for graduate entry.
02Can I use adjustment factors involved in my ATAR?
No. Adjustment factors (bonus points) cannot be used for the Bond Medical Program.
03What GPA do I need to be competitive?
As a minimum, you will need a GPA of at least 6.0 on a seven-point scale over one year of full-time equivalent study. However, demand is high, and meeting the minimum does not guarantee progression.
04What does the Psychometric Testing involve?
Candidates complete two assessments: an emotional intelligence test (MSCEIT) and a personality test. Together, they take around 90 minutes to complete (with a 2-hour max limit) and are conducted online under proctored supervision.
05Are there quotas for the interview offers?
Yes. The Medical Program aims to ensure that 40% of interview invitations are extended to candidates from Queensland and the Tweed community. Interviews are held online.
